2am phoenix airport dunkin'

As the title implies, I have tragically ended up in this place. Please know it is not the Dunkin' I'm upset about, just the 2am and phoenix airport parts. Shoutout to the overnight airport workers, for real.

I was set for a midnight flight out East that was first delayed by two hours then cancelled - thanks United. Offered nothing more than the next flight seven hours away, I decided to rebook with another airline that is leaving in two and a half hours as I write this. After a spooky trip on the desolate Sky Train (tram) to another terminal I find myself with all security checkpoints closed and this wonderful dunkin' location open. When stepping off the traim, I got a feel of that still-100-degrees-in-the-middle-of-the-night Phoenix heat (In their defense, it was actually 93°F).

Interestingly I saw for the first time the arrival/departure screens flashing colors, presumably to avoid screen burn while they aren't really in use. As of 2:35am they are back to their normal function.

Anyways, the checkpoints are still closed but the airport is beginning to come back to life slowly. I wish you all easy travel.
