As the title says, today is my last day working at the University of Maine. It is very bittersweet, I am excited to go back to the Southwest but will certainly miss the wonderful people here. There is a reason they call it "the college of our hearts always"!
I've gotten an unexpected job offer for this summer, and am in deep internal debate about it. I just have to think about the summer I want to have, as this will be my first "true" summer in quite some time since I went straight to working full time last summer.
Otherwise, things for next school year are about all set. I pack up this weekend. I am excited to go back to school!
A short update indeed, but finishing up everything is one of the reasons I haven't posted here in a while. Congratulations to the class of 2024, Go Blue!
It feels appropriate to end with the only college song to reach #1 on the Billboard top 100, the Stein Song.
