Questions I have about Pitch Perfect (2012)

Those close to me know that Pitch Perfect is one of my favorite films. It is the only movie I have ever purchased. I have seen it over 30 times.

When one has seen a film this much, inevitably the smallest details come to light. In this regard, I have questions.

Did Benji get any other offers/bids from other a capella groups? If so, why did he decline? He obviously can sing and I don't think the other groups would mind his quirks.
How does Beca's dad know her room number and have access the day of move-in? Judging on their relationship in the beginning of the film, I have doubts that she would have shared such information. My doubts extend even to a FERPA release for her dad, so have Beca's FERPA rights been violated?
How and when did Jesse have Beca's dad's phone number? Her arrest was in the evening and a faculty member's cell phone is not something that would normally be in the directory.
What was the cop's logic behind Beca's criminal arrest for destruction of property?
Does the university know about the a capella groups using the decrepit pool space? How do the students have access to this area? Huge liability for the school.

Pitch Perfect is a great film that I encourage all to watch. I do not endorse any of the sequels.
